Debbie & Terry’s engagement shoot - Wepre Park, Chester

We spent a very hot and sunny afternoon at Wepre Park, near Chester with Debbie & Terry. Wepre Park sits just outside of Chester and has lots of great photo opportunities, including some castle ruins. Despite the long walk to find the ruins, we managed to get some great shots of Debbie & Terry. We are very much looking forward to photographing their outdoor wedding at the lovely Feathers Queens hotel in Chester on 19th September.

Here are some of our favourites from the day:

Scott & Sarah’s wedding at Beamish Hall

We were fortunate to spend Sunday at the stunning Beamish Hall Hotel (www.beamish-hall.co.uk) for Scott & Sarah’s wedding. The weather was absolutely glorious for what turned out to be one of the most emotional weddings yet! We spent the morning with Sarah and her bridesmaids at the hairdressers, before photographing Sarah’s transformation into a beautiful bride. The bride arrived at Beamish Hall a customary few minutes late, for the ceremony held in the beautiful Shafto Room. There were plenty of tears throughout the ceremony, and I am sure everyone who was there will agree it was a wonderful ceremony that showed just how much in love Scott and Sarah are. Once they were declared Mr and Mrs Thompson, we were able to spend time photographing their family and friends in the gorgeous grounds of Beamish Hall. More tears flowed during the speeches, and it was soon time for the couple’s first dance. An absolutely fantastic day, it was a pleasure to spend the day with Scott & Sarah and their families.

Normally, we post around 25 pictures as a teaser from each wedding. After much discussion, we really couldn’t pick our favourite 25 so here are our favourites from the day. We hope you have a lovely honeymoon in Jamaica!

Danielle & Neil - Graphistudio Album

We had the pleasure of photographing Danielle & Neil’s wedding a few weeks ago. They were a lovely couple to work with, and a lot of fun. Their wedding was held at St Wulstans church in Wolstanton, Newcastle Under Lyme, with a reception at the centre next door.

We started the morning early at the hairdressers with Danielle, where the hairdresser performed miracles with gorgeous curls. Marc spent the morning with the Groom and Best Man before heading off to the Church, whilst Victoria continued shooting images of Danielle (who looked stunning & didn’t stop smiling all day) & her gorgeous bridesmaid Niamh at her parents house. A beautiful service, accompanied by a choir concluded with the Bride & Groom leaving church to a shower of bubbles! Despite the April showers, we managed to get the family shots outside and then headed of to a local park with Danielle & Neil for some fun shots (including Danielle’s special wellies!).

We would like to thank Danielle, Neil and their families for looking after us on the day, we were thrilled to be a part of it. Congratulations to you both.

Here are some images from Danielle & Neil’s Graphistudio Album

Julia & Simon’s engagement shoot - 21st June 2008

Marc spent yesterday at Keynes Country Park in Wiltshire with Julia & Simon. The morning was spent viewing Wellington Barn, the venue for their forthcoming wedding on August 9th. The original plan was to spend the afternoon around Avebury Stones, however none of us realised ahead of time that the 21st was the longest day of the year which meant Avebury Stones was descended upon by masses of people. Not to be put off, Julia suggested Keynes Country Park (near Cirencester) and despite the weather Julia & Simon seemed to have a lot of fun! Wellington Barn is a stunning venue and we can’t wait to photograph their wedding on August 9th.

Here are a couple of shots of the day hot off the presses (well not literally, but you get the idea!), the images will be in an online gallery for you to view by the end of the week.
