Sarah & Trevor’s wedding - Beamish Hall

Looking out of the window today, we realise how lucky we were to get such a fantastic day yesterday for Sarah & Trevor’s wedding at Beamish Hall. Despite the cold weather, the sun shone as Sarah & Trevor said their vows in front of family & friends. The couple and their guests braved the cold to make good use of the fabulous grounds around Beamish for their photographs. After a few fun shots, we headed inside to the beautiful Monboucher Suite which looked stunning for the speeches. All too quickly it was time to cut the cake and take to the floor for their first dance. It was a wonderful day full of fun, and we would like to thank Sarah, Trevor and their families for making us so welcome. We hope you enjoy your honeymoon. Nicola & Ian’s wedding - Lumley Castle

It was a pleasure to be invited to photograph Ian & Nicola’s wedding at Lumley Castle. We were lucky to have some great weather which meant we managed to fit in some photographs before it got dark. Although it was a small wedding, it couldn’t have been nicer. Ian and Nicola are a lovely couple who are very much in love. They shared today with their daughters (who looked beautiful) and their close family and friends. We hope that they enjoy many years of happiness together. Here are a few of our favourites:

The wedding of Debbie & Terry, Queens Hotel Chester

Yesterday we were in Chester at the Queens Hotel for Debbie & Terry’s wedding. Although the weather was touch and go all day, everyone’s crossed fingers paid off with a beautiful outdoor ceremony in the hotel gardens. Debbie, with help from her family and friends, put an amazing amount of effort into the details of the wedding and everything from the personalised sweets to the cake decorations was fabulous. Debbie and her bridesmaids looked amazing, and after the ceremony we just had enough time for some couple pictures and family groups in the gardens. It was soon time for the wedding breakfast and speeches, before kicking off the dancing with Debbie and Terry’s first dance. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Edwards! Here are a few of our favourites.

The Wedding of David & Anne August 2009

Bank holiday weekend found us at the wedding of Anne and David. We first met Anne & David at Wallington House where we had a great time taking some engagement images. Their favourite image from that day formed a guest montage on their wedding day, and perfectly captured their relationship. The whole day was perfect from start to finish, and although one of the largest weddings we have photographed, it was one of the most friendly. Anne looked absolutely stunning in her wedding dress, and David was a very dashing groom. A beautiful service at Jesmond Parish Church was followed by a reception at Newcastle Civic Centre. Guests were treated to plenty of live music in the evening, before the Bride and Groom left the party to a wonderful send off from family and friends. Sarah & Trevor’s Engagement Shoot, Durham, August 2009

This morning we met up with Sarah & Trevor at the riverside in Durham for the pre-wedding shoot. The weather was perfect for a leisurely stroll around the riverside, whilst taking a few photographs of course! We really enjoyed photographing such a lovely couple, and are looking forward to their wedding in November at Beamish Hall. Here are a few of our favourites from the day.

The Wedding of Sarah & Stephen, August 2009

Yesterday found us at the wedding of Sarah & Stephen at St Helen’s Parish Church. The sun was shining as the couple said their vows in a lovely ceremony, followed by a few group pictures in the Church grounds. Afterwards, the couple were whisked away in their beautiful Bentley wedding car down to the river for their couple pictures. Congratulations to you both!

Louise & Paul’s wedding, Bishop Auckland

Despite the horrible weather on Friday, the rain stayed away yesterday for Louise & Paul’s wedding at Bishop Auckland registry office. This was one of the smallest weddings we have been asked to photograph, but it was certainly one of the nicest. I spent some time with Louise as she got ready to leave home, and she was blown away by her surprise wedding car which was a gift from her parents. The registrars performed a lovely ceremony, after which we had time to pop into the park for some couple pictures. Congratulations to Louise & Paul!

Debbie & Terry’s engagement shoot - Wepre Park, Chester

We spent a very hot and sunny afternoon at Wepre Park, near Chester with Debbie & Terry. Wepre Park sits just outside of Chester and has lots of great photo opportunities, including some castle ruins. Despite the long walk to find the ruins, we managed to get some great shots of Debbie & Terry. We are very much looking forward to photographing their outdoor wedding at the lovely Feathers Queens hotel in Chester on 19th September.

David & Anne’s engagement shoot - Wallington House

It was a beautiful May day for our shoot today. Not only did we have wonderful weather, we were lucky enough to be at Wallington House, about 20 miles from Newcastle. Neither of us had visited this National Trust site before, so we jumped at the chance to meet David & Ann there . We certainly weren’t disappointed, the gardens and grounds are stunning and well worth a visit. David & Ann were a lovely couple, and it was a pleasure to photograph them. We are very much looking forward to their August wedding at Newcastle Civic Centre. Here are a few of our favourites from the shoot.

Ian & Nicola’s Engagement Shoot at Lumley Castle

We spent a yesterday morning with Nicola, Ian and their two daughters at Lumley Castle for a pre-wedding shoot. Despite the extremely cold weather, Nicola and Ian were a joy to photograph and lots of fun. We even managed to fit in a couple of family photographs. We are very much looking forward to photographing their wedding at Lumley Castle in October. Here are a few of our favourites from the session.
