Looking out of the window today, we realise how lucky we were to get such a fantastic day yesterday for Sarah & Trevor’s wedding at Beamish Hall. Despite the cold weather, the sun shone as Sarah & Trevor said their vows in front of family & friends.  The couple and their guests braved the cold to make good use of the fabulous grounds around Beamish for their photographs. After a few fun shots, we headed inside to the beautiful Monboucher Suite which looked stunning for the speeches. All too quickly it was time to cut the cake and take to the floor for their first dance. It was a wonderful day full of fun, and we would like to thank Sarah, Trevor and their families for making us so welcome. We hope you enjoy your honeymoon. It was a pleasure to be invited to photograph Ian & Nicola’s wedding at Lumley Castle. We were lucky to have some great weather which meant we managed to fit in some photographs before it got dark. Although it was a small wedding, it couldn’t have been nicer. Ian and Nicola are a lovely couple who are very much in love. They shared today with their daughters (who looked beautiful) and their close family and friends. We hope that they enjoy many years of happiness together. Here are a few of our favourites:

Yesterday we were in Chester at the Queens Hotel for Debbie & Terry’s wedding. Although the weather was touch and go all day, everyone’s crossed fingers paid off with a beautiful outdoor ceremony in the hotel gardens. Debbie, with help from her family and friends, put an amazing amount of effort into the details of the wedding and everything from the personalised sweets to the cake decorations was fabulous. Debbie and her bridesmaids looked amazing, and after the ceremony we just had enough time for some couple pictures and family groups in the gardens. It was soon time for the wedding breakfast and speeches, before kicking off the dancing with Debbie and Terry’s first dance. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Edwards! Here are a few of our favourites.

Bank holiday weekend found us at the wedding of Anne and David. We first met Anne & David at Wallington House where we had a great time taking some engagement images. Their favourite image from that day formed a guest montage on their wedding day, and perfectly captured their relationship. The whole day was perfect from start to finish, and although one of the largest weddings we have photographed, it was one of the most friendly. Anne looked absolutely stunning in her wedding dress, and David was a very dashing groom. A beautiful service at Jesmond Parish Church was followed by a reception at Newcastle Civic Centre. Guests were treated to plenty of live music in the evening, before the Bride and Groom left the party to a wonderful send off from family and friends.
